Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy explains how the developer of Pure Wallpaper (Solid Color Wallpaper), Android package com.magic.purewallpaper, handles information in the app and at solidwallpaper.com. You do not need an account to use the app. For privacy questions, contact justmisyou@gmail.com.
Wallpaper features and data on your device
Colors, favorites, wallpaper generation and previews are processed on your device. The app keeps favorites, settings and a recent wallpaper locally; exported images are saved to the location managed by Android. These features do not upload your wallpaper images to us. On Android 7–9, saving images can require storage permission; the app also uses permission to set wallpaper. It does not request precise location, contacts, microphone or camera access.
There is no app account or developer-operated favorites sync service. Android may back up or transfer eligible app data according to your device settings. The recent wallpaper cache, analytics preference and ad frequency preference are excluded from cloud backup. Files you export may remain after uninstalling and may be backed up by other services you enable.
Advertising in the app
The app displays Google AdMob ads. Its advertising SDK can send Google an IP address, approximate location inferred from it, advertising and other device/app identifiers, account identifiers where applicable, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information. Google processes and shares relevant information to deliver and measure ads, analyze performance and prevent fraud. Personalization and the information used depend on consent, region and device settings.
We use Google’s User Messaging Platform to obtain or update advertising choices where required. When applicable, the app menu includes “Ad privacy options” so you can review your choices. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing: non-personalized or limited ads may still use information for delivery, security or measurement. Core wallpaper features can be used offline.
Optional usage statistics and crash reports
“Share usage and crash reports” is off by default. Enabling it after the in-app explanation allows Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to send usage statistics and crash reports to Google to help us understand feature use, diagnose failures and improve the app. These optional reports are disabled in debug builds.
Reports can include app launches and screen views, wallpaper feature and save/apply events, device and app versions, app-instance or installation identifiers, and crash stack traces or device state. Analytics can also process advertising identifiers and approximate location derived from IP addresses. We do not attach your wallpaper images, name or email address to these reports.
You can turn this setting off at any time without losing wallpaper features. Turning it off disables optional reporting, resets local Analytics data and deletes crash reports that have not been uploaded. It does not itself erase reports already received by Google, and it does not control the separate AdMob advertising SDK.
Visits to this website
Website Google Analytics is off by default. We load its script only after you choose “Allow analytics”. If enabled, it processes visits, browser/device information, approximate location and cookie or similar identifiers to measure website use. Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled for this website. Our hosting service receives technical request information to serve and secure the site; Google Fonts requests also send technical request information to Google. These services are separate from the app’s optional reporting switch.
Necessary browser storage remembers your language and website analytics choice. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to allow or refuse analytics. Withdrawing consent disables website analytics, removes its cookies where accessible and reloads the page without its script; it does not erase data previously sent. If browser storage is blocked, choices may last only for the current page. Browser privacy controls and clearing site data are also available. External links have their own privacy practices.
Recipients and processing outside your country
Google receives advertising, analytics and diagnostic information through the services described above. Hosting and email providers process the information needed to operate the website and respond to messages. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents you choose to send and use them to handle your request. We may disclose information where required to meet a legal obligation or protect the security of the service.
These providers may process information on servers outside your country. Their terms and privacy notices describe their processing and transfer safeguards. The links below provide details about Google’s services and controls.
Retention, deletion and security
Favorites and settings remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data or uninstall; eligible Android backups are managed separately in your device or account settings. The recent wallpaper is replaced as you use the app. Remove exported images yourself from your gallery or file manager if you no longer want them.
Data sent to Google follows the applicable service’s retention settings and policies. Google states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before starting removal from live and backup systems. Analytics retention depends on the configured property settings; advertising data follows Google’s applicable retention practices. We keep support correspondence for handling the request and any applicable legal obligations. Stopping collection does not automatically delete previously uploaded information.
The AdMob and Firebase SDKs encrypt data in transit using TLS/HTTPS. We limit our use of reports to the purposes described here. No network or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your controls and privacy requests
Use “Ad privacy options” in the app when available to revisit advertising choices. Android’s advertising settings also let you reset or delete your advertising ID where supported. These controls do not necessarily disable every identifier or all advertising processing.
Use “Share usage and crash reports” for optional app reporting, and this website’s “Cookie settings” for optional website analytics. You can remove local app data through Android settings. These controls are distinct from requesting deletion of information already held by a service provider.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw consent, or object to or restrict processing. Email justmisyou@gmail.com with the service and request concerned. We may need information to verify and locate the relevant records; the app has no account-based identification or automatic server-data deletion button. We will explain any limits and applicable provider process. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
Children’s privacy
Pure Wallpaper is not directed to children under 13. We do not intentionally solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app or website, contact us so we can assess the situation and the appropriate action with the relevant provider.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, website or data practices change. The date above identifies the current revision. Where a change requires a new notice or consent, we will provide it through the appropriate app or website flow.
